You will support teachers through ongoing professional development with a focus on Balanced Learning® curriculum implementation and continuous improvement for teachers and students. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Assists the Executive Director with the necessary management responsibilities
  • Assists in keeping school physically well kept, attractive, and safe
  • Ability to perform all of the essential functions for each position in the School, including, but not limited to, other leadership team positions, teacher, food service teacher, and bus driver
  • Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions
  • Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Primrose School of Forney at Gateway Employee Handbook
  • Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Forney at Gateway and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children
  • Assists in other capacities that Executive Director, or designee, determines is necessary 
 
Desired skills and experience:

  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Must be able to drive the Primrose bus (CDL not required)
  • Must be able to close the school (6:30PM)
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
  • Must be able to work all school events (some may fall on weekends)
  • Must meet requirements of local child care regulatory agency and Primrose School of Forney at Gateway
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

Make a difference every day!

  • Participate in the selection and hiring of teaching staff.
  • Coordinate with other members of the Leadership Team to implement the training plan for new teaching staff.
  • Conduct classroom observations to regularly support and ensure the implementation and delivery of the research-informed Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum.
  • Create a culture of engagement by empowering teachers to find solutions for themselves.
Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
