As a Preschool/PreK Teacher, you’ll create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule designed to develop children’s confidence and independence. You’ll help guide these little ones through small group instruction as they grow their ability to absorb new content and understand increasingly complex information. We are looking for Fun, Energetic, Detail Oriented Teachers for our Primrose School of East Windsor! 

Education related degrees/CDA, Teaching certification, group or head teacher experience highly preferred

We are seeking Lead as well as support teachers. Pay will be based on experience and education.

Compensation: $16.00- $20.00 per hour based on qualification and experience
 
Daily Responsibilities:

  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
  • Manage classroom activities including lessons, play, breaks and meals
  • Track children’s progress and report to parents
  • Help children reach developmental milestones
  • Plan and implement activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
  • Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
  • Support school leadership team as needed
Requirements:

  • For Lead Teacher - Minimum 1 year experience as Lead Teacher or 2 years as Support Teacher
  • For Support Teacher - Minimum one year experience as Support Teacher
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Experience working in a preschool.
  • Participate in staff and training meetings
  • Commit to continuing education
