Part Time Afternoon Closing Teacher

Teaching is more than a job. It’s an opportunity to foster curiosity, creativity and compassion in children—all while helping them develop a lifelong love of learning.  As a part-time Support Teacher at Primrose School at Austin Village, you’ll help to create a fun, safe environment for little ones as they explore and learn through purposeful play that nurtures their social, emotional, cognitive, creative and physical development.  Hours for the position are Monday - Friday 2:00 - 6:00 PM, but could be as early as 12:00 - 6:00 PM.  We are particularly interested in part time candidates, although we are also considering full time support teachers. Please indicate your availability when you apply. This is ideal for college students who are looking for part time work that can be shifted around your classes.

 

We are seeking teachers who are passionate about working with children.  The ideal candidate would be someone who is comfortable working with infants and toddlers ages 2 months to 2 1/2 years, has the ability to relate to children, is looking to build relationships with parents and children, and can maintain the health and safety of the classroom.
