Assistant Director (Admissions & Operations)

Salary: $38,000/year + up to $4,000 annual bonus
Primrose School of Liberty is hiring a highly organized Assistant Director (Admissions & Operations) to lead admissions efforts and support daily school operations. This role focuses on converting inquiries into enrollments while assisting with operations and classroom support as needed.
This role is best suited for someone who is highly organized, consistent with follow-up, and comfortable balancing administrative work with hands-on support.
About the Role
Primrose School of Liberty is seeking a dependable and highly organized Assistant Director (Admissions & Operations) to support enrollment and daily school operations. This is a hands-on leadership support role ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys building relationships with families, and can balance administrative responsibilities with on-the-floor support when needed.
The primary focus of this role is driving enrollment through consistent tours, follow-up, and local outreach, while also supporting daily operations and maintaining strong organizational systems.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions & Enrollment (Primary Focus)
- Manage the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment
- Schedule and conduct tours for prospective families
- Provide consistent follow-up to all leads (same day or within 24 hours)
- Track all inquiries, tours, and enrollments using Procare
- Maintain an accurate and organized enrollment pipeline and waitlist
- Deliver a professional and welcoming experience to all families
Operations & Staff Support
- Assist the Center Director with daily operations and ensure compliance with licensing standards
- Support implementation of curriculum by ensuring classrooms follow established programs and schedules
- Provide day-to-day support and coaching to teaching staff as needed
- Assist with staffing coordination and daily classroom coverage as needed
- Step into classrooms when necessary to maintain licensing ratios
- Assist with opening and/or closing the school based on leadership scheduling
Subsidy Billing (Limited Scope)
- Process and maintain billing for a small group of subsidy families
- Ensure accurate attendance tracking and timely submissions
- Follow up on minor discrepancies or missing documentation as needed
Local Outreach & Enrollment Events
- Execute local outreach efforts to generate new family leads (community connections, flyers, partnerships)
- Coordinate and support school events such as open houses and family engagement activities
- Track lead sources and ensure timely follow-up with all event and outreach inquiries
Hiring Support (Secondary)
- Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating candidates
- Support leadership during active hiring periods
Role Priorities

Compensation & Benefits
- $38,000 annual salary
- Bonus potential up to $4,000/year based on performance

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in childcare, admissions, customer service, or administrative coordination
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration or related field; advanced credentials are a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using Procare or similar systems
- Willingness to support classroom operations when needed
- Demonstrated reliability, follow-through, and accountability
