About the Role:
Join our vibrant team at Primrose School of North Meridian as we open our doors to a new private preschool! We are seeking passionate Lead Teachers who are dedicated to nurturing young minds and creating a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to preschool-aged children.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess children's progress and development.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to support each child's learning journey.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes exploration and discovery.
- Lead classroom activities that encourage creativity and social interaction.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and health standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Valid teaching license or certification in Early Childhood Education.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with young children.
- Ability to create a warm and welcoming classroom atmosphere.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to lifelong learning.
