Position: Daycare - Kindergarten Support Teacher
We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher to help implement an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child, in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach to teaching and learning. Free Training Provided!

Primary Responsibilities:
- Overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children
- Observe rules and regulations at Primrose School at Gray Eagle and the regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for kindergarten children
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you
- Implement positive behavioral guidance strategies and ensure a safe learning space
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Support individual learning needs and encourage social and emotional growth
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency
- Classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children
- Previous experience teaching in a licensed early childhood education setting preferred
- Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children

Salary Range: $15-$18
Shift Schedule: 8:00a-5:00p or 9:00a-6:00p (with 1-hour lunch break)
