Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily functions of the Pre-K classroom
- Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for preschool-aged children
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans provided through our Balanced Learning® curriculum
- Maintain a well-kept, engaging classroom that fosters exploration, creativity, and confidence
- Provide consistent expectations and positive recognition for children’s growth and behavior
- Ensure compliance with Bright from the Start (BFTS), state, and national regulations
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build a strong, supportive community
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
- Assist with classroom upkeep and other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass a comprehensive background check (fingerprinting required)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
- One of the following educational credentials:

Child Development Associate (CDA) credential

Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education

Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field

Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. (including infants, if applicable)

Salary Range:
16.00- 18.00
Shift Schedule:
7:45am- 4:45pm
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
