About the Role:
Join the Primrose School of Naperville Crossings as a Two-Year-Old Preschool Lead Teacher and help nurture young minds in a fun, engaging environment. We’re looking for passionate educators who are eager to inspire creativity and foster a love for learning in our little ones.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom for two-year-old children.
- Encourage exploration and discovery through hands-on activities.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about children’s progress and daily activities.
- Regularly assess and document children’s development and milestones.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and classroom dynamics.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent preferred (must meet Illinois lead teacher qualifications).
- Previous experience working with young children, especially in a preschool setting.
- Solid understanding of child development and early education principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Background check and references required upon hiring.
