Job Summary:
Support Staff members assist classroom teachers and school leadership by providing coverage, maintaining ratios, and supporting daily operations throughout the school. This role is essential in creating a safe, organized, and positive learning environment for children and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide classroom support and coverage as needed across age groups
· Assist teachers with daily routines, transitions, and activities
· Help maintain state-required child-to-teacher ratios
· Support children during meals, rest time, and outdoor play
· Assist with classroom organization and cleanliness
· Follow all health, safety, and supervision guidelines
· Always model positive behavior and professionalism
· Communicate respectfully with teachers and leadership
