Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote creativity and critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress through observation and documentation.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom.
- Lead and mentor assistant teachers, providing guidance and support.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements:
- Classes in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood setting.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering children's growth.
- State licensing requirements for Lead Teacher positions.

Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
