Primrose School of Evergreen is seeking fun loving and artistic, part-time art teacher for our after-school program. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves art and bringing art projects alive into the classroom.
As an after-school art teacher, you will be working with children ranging in age from 5 to 11 years old. Using our provided daily schedule and research-informed curriculum, the guesswork is taken out of the classroom, and you can spend your energy engaging with the children.

Qualifications:
- Patient and dedicated with a strong desire to guide and nurture children and families
- Pleasant, friendly and compassionate demeanor.
- 12 or more core units in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Work experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred
- Must meet required state background check
- Proficient computer skills and ability to communicate effectively with parents
- Professional, dependable, and reliable
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and nurturing environment in accordance with state and school licensing standards
- Implement art lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the provided Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum
- Continually Observe and Assess each child's developmental needs and strengths
- Maintains an attractive, organized classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence
- Cultivates positive relationships with families and colleagues
- Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for children's behavior.
- Necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds.
