The Role: As a Co-Teacher or Assistant Teacher, you will co-lead a classroom of two, three or four-year‑olds through a developmentally grounded curriculum that prepares them — academically, socially, and emotional. Our classrooms will reflect your joy, your planning, your standards, and your passion for readiness. You will:
- Design and deliver daily lessons aligned with Balanced Learning® Preschool curriculum frameworks
- Build early literacy foundations through engaging, hands‑on experiences that strengthen phonological awareness, print concepts, vocabulary, and comprehension
- Develop early math skills: number sense, counting, patterns, shapes, and problem-solving
- Foster executive function skills: self-regulation, attention, and task completion
- Prepare students for the future, including school-day structure and behavioral expectations
- Assist with ongoing developmental assessments and communicate results clearly to families
- Support strong family partnership practices — including assist with conferences, daily updates, and milestone communication
- Collaborate and work alongside the teacher within your classroom
- Partner with families through their child's Potty-Training process and support their journey - Twos classroom ONLY.

Education: Preferred Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education required; Virginia teaching licensure or CDA or pursuing higher education.
